“The Project of 80,000 TPA CaCl2 Dihydrate Granule Rotary Granulation” Won the Second Prize of CSIA Scientific and Technological Progress

Time : 2024-07-31

Recently, CSIA (China Soda Industry Association) organized the 2021-2023 Scientific and Technological Progress Award Review Meeting in Zhuhai, China. The meeting was based on the purpose of “promoting scientific and technological innovation and improving technological progress in the industry.” The judges carefully listened to the introduction of the participating projects by the representatives, reviewed the relevant documents and materials, and after review, “the project of 80,000 tons/year calcium chloride dihydrate granule rotary granulation” was rated as the second prize of the 2021-2023 Scientific and Technological Progress Award.

This project was jointly completed by Shandong Tianli Energy Co., Ltd. and Shandong Haihua Co., Ltd. In view of the problems existing in the traditional process of preparing calcium chloride dihydrate flake in the current industry, a new one-step process suitable for 69% high concentration calcium chloride spray coating and dry and produce calcium chloride dihydrate granule was developed. The developed fluidized rotary granulating and drying all-in-one machine integrates multiple functions of spray coating, drum granulation, and fluidized drying to achieve   calcium chloride dihydrate granule granulation and drying process is completed in one step. The project built the 80,000 tons/year calcium chloride dihydrate granule demonstration device and achieved stable operation.
