World leader! The scitech achievements passed the technical appraisal of CPCIF
On September 18 to 21, 2023, CPCIF (China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation) organized and held the on-site assessment and appraisal meeting for the scitech achievements of “the Development of Fluidized Rotary Granulation and Drying System and its Application in the Production of Calcium Chloride Dihydrate” in Weifang, Shandong Province. The appraisal committee agreed that the achievements are innovative, the overall technology has reached the international leading level of the same type of device, the economic and environmental benefits are significant, and has broad prospects for popularization and application.
The on-site appraisal expert group listened to the report of the project team on the construction, operation and appraisal preparation of 80,000 tons/year spherical calcium chloride dihydrate engineering unit, and made a field inspection of the continuous operation. At the scitech achievements evaluation meeting, the project team reported on the background significance, technical routes, key technologies and innovations, and economic and social benefits of the project. The appraisal committee listened to the on-site appraisal report and the report of the project team, reviewed the relevant documents and information, and formed an appraisal opinion after questioning and discussion, and finally agreed that the overall technology of the achievement reached the international advanced level.
This achievement is jointly completed by Shandong Tianli Energy Co., Ltd and Shandong Haihua Co., Ltd. Aiming at the problems of the traditional process, developed a new one-step process applicable to the production of calcium chloride dihydrate in spherical granular form by spray coating and drying of calcium chloride with a high concentration of 69%. It has developed a fluidized rotary granulating and drying integrated machine, which includes various functions such as spray coating, rotary granulating and fluidized drying, realizing one-step granulating and drying of spherical calcium chloride dihydrate, and has built an 80,000 tons/year demonstration plant of spherical calcium chloride dihydrate, which has been running stably. On-site assessment shows that the system can run stably for more than 40 days, the particles are uniform, the product indexes meet the requirements of industrial calcium chloride standard (GB/T 26520-2021) for type Ⅱ products, the average consumption of steam is 205.8kg/t, and the electric power consumption is 13.4kW-h/t. The achievements have independent intellectual property rights and can be operated for a long period of time, which greatly reduces the comprehensive energy consumption of the system with significant economic benefits.
